Editorial Policy

Last updated: September 12, 2026

This page describes how Nodecurio decides what to publish, how articles are produced, and what commercial relationships can and cannot influence.

Editorial Independence

Commercial relationships never determine editorial outcomes.

Nodecurio earns through affiliate partnerships, display advertising, and clearly labelled sponsored content. None of these change what we conclude about a product.

Specifically:

  • A vendor cannot pay to be ranked higher in a comparison
  • A vendor cannot pay to have criticism removed
  • Affiliate commission rates play no part in which tools we recommend
  • Advertisers get no advance notice of, and no input into, editorial coverage
  • We recommend tools with no affiliate programme whenever they are the right answer

If we cannot write honestly about a product, we don’t cover it.

Who Does What

Nodecurio is produced by a three-person team, and each article passes through more than one pair of hands.

Subham Verma – Co-Founder & Editor Editorial direction, tool selection, hands-on testing, final approval.

Auquib Mohd – Co-Founder & Technical Editor Technical accuracy, verification of workflows and configurations, testing published instructions.

Lubna Ahmed – Co-Founder & Head of Content Publishing Editorial calendar, copy editing, publication standards, corrections process.

No article is published on the say-so of one person alone. Full profiles are on our Team page.

How Articles Are Produced

  1. Selection. We cover tools our readers actually use or are actively evaluating, based on reader questions, search demand, and platform changes.
  2. Hands-on use. For reviews and comparisons, we sign up and use the product – usually on the free or entry tier, since that’s where most readers start. We build something real rather than clicking through a demo.
  3. Documentation check. Claims about features, limits and pricing are verified against the vendor’s official documentation and pricing page, not against other blogs.
  4. Writing. Articles are written to answer the question the reader actually arrived with, not to reach a word count.
  5. Technical review. Instructions, configurations and workflows are checked by a second person before publication, against our Fact-Checking Policy.
  6. Edit and publish. Drafts are edited for clarity and accuracy, then published with a named byline and a publication date.
  7. Maintenance. Articles are revisited when a platform makes a significant change. Substantive updates are dated.

Where We Haven’t Tested

We don’t pretend to have used everything. Where an article discusses a tool we have not tested directly, the article says so explicitly and identifies what the assessment is based on – documentation, vendor claims, or aggregated user reports.

Use of AI Tools

We are direct about this, because readers deserve to know.

AI tools may be used at Nodecurio for research assistance, outlining, and editing support. They are not used to generate published articles.

Every article is written, verified, edited and approved by named members of our team who have done the underlying work. Nothing is published that a person has not personally checked. We do not publish AI-generated content at scale, and we do not publish anything containing claims nobody verified.

If we ever publish a piece produced differently, it will be labelled on the article itself.

Bylines and Accountability

Every article carries the name of the person responsible for it. There are no anonymous posts and no invented author personas.

Sponsored and Contributed Content

Sponsored articles are labelled “Sponsored” at the top of the page, before the article begins, and their links use rel=”sponsored”.

Contributed and guest articles are labelled as such and carry the contributor’s own byline. They are edited to the same standards as our own work, and we reject submissions that do not meet them. Full terms: Write for Us and Advertise With Us.

Corrections

We correct errors openly rather than quietly. See our Corrections Policy.

Reader Input

Disagree with a conclusion? Have data that contradicts something we published? Email contact@nodecurio.com. Well-argued challenges have changed our articles before and will again.
